Agents who are registered with both TFPA and TWIA may have trouble logging into the TFPA Agent Portal or TWIA Agent Portal after an upgrade on February 17. If this is you, please use this guide to troubleshoot your login issue.

Trouble Logging Into the TFPA Agent Portal?

New TFPA Username
Agents who are registered with both TFPA and TWIA were assigned a new TFPA username on February 17. It is the same as your previous TFPA username, but with “TFPA” added to the beginning.

For example, if your TFPA username was jsmith@example.com, your new TFPA username is TFPAjsmith@example.com.

Usernames are not case-sensitive.

Again, this only applies to agents who are registered with both TFPA and TWIA. New usernames were emailed to impacted agents on February 9 and February 17.

Reset Your Password
To log in, you must reset the password associated with your TFPA account. Use the “Forgot Password” button on the TFPA Agent Portal login page. Click here to view a job aid of the TFPA login process and how to reset your password.

Reset Your Password
To log in, you must reset the password associated with your TWIA account. Use the “Forgot Password” button on the new TWIA Agent Portal login page (same as image above for the TFPA login page).

Make Sure You Log Into the Correct System

To make sure you are logging into the correct system, start your login process from the TFPA website or TWIA website. You may also wish to bookmark the separate login pages.

About Your TFPA Login Information:

  • Username: Your new TFPA username is the same as your current TFPA username, but with “TFPA” added to the front. Usernames are not case-sensitive.
  • Password: You must reset the password associated with your TFPA account. Use the “Forgot Password” button on the login page.

About Your TWIA Login Information:

  • Username: Your TWIA username did not change.
  • Password: You must reset the password associated with your TWIA account. Use the “Forgot Password” button on the new login page.

Reason for the Changes

We are upgrading our systems to strengthen their security and streamline processes shared by both TFPA and TWIA. To ensure continued access to your TFPA and TWIA accounts, they will need different usernames.
