TFPA is monitoring ongoing storm activity which may impact our coverage area. It is possible that a policy moratorium will go into effect in the near future. During a moratorium, TFPA is unable to issue any new policies or increase coverage on existing policies/renewals for properties in impacted counties.
TFPA must receive both the application and the payment before we can issue a policy. The best way to ensure TFPA receives payment before a moratorium goes into effect is to have your client submit a payment through our e-payments system at www.texasfairplan.org/epayments.
