A TFPA policy moratorium went into effect at 5:00 p.m. on January 18, 2022. We can no longer issue policies for new or increased coverage for properties located in Bastrop County.
This moratorium is in response to a wildfire in Bastrop County. Once the TFPA General Manager determines the fire no longer threatens property in the county, TFPA will lift the moratorium at 12:01 a.m. the next day.
We will notify you through an agent bulletin of any changes to this policy moratorium. This includes if/when other counties are added to the moratorium and if/when the moratorium is lifted.
