Over the past 13 months, the Texas FAIR Plan Association has been able to provide temporary payment options and a temporary grace period to its policyholders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, like many other organizations across the state, TFPA has begun reinstating pre-pandemic business practices.
The following temporary payment options and the temporary grace period will end on May 15, 2021:
- The temporary $0 late fee when an invoice goes unpaid will return to the normal $5.00 late fee.
- The temporary $0 installment fee will return to the normal $5.00 fee per installment.
- The temporary 30-day grace period, before TFPA issues a notice of cancellation, will end.
